Rural Africa Water Development Project (RAWDP)
BARC recently welcomed to its office a delegation from Rural Africa Water Development Project (RAWDP). RAWDP is a non governmental organization that seeks to alleviate the acute water inadequacy faced in developing countries, by focusing their work in Eastern Nigeria.

Led by the Project Coordinator/C.E.O., Joachim Ezeji, RAWDP was in Canada last February to attend a Biosand filter construction workshop in Calgary.

RAWDP's participation in the training was sponsored by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). The workshop was attended by participants from all over the world.

While in Toronto, the delegation met with BARC officials and other members of the African community at a dinner organised by BARC.
